A great item, still have not found a decent substitute. This is my fourth purchase. Replaced when the teflon coating wears out, makes cleaning hard. Only problem is Delonghi makes so many variations, you have to be careful when you order even though the picture may show a thermostat, some models do not have it, even though some dealer say it has one.

This is my first deep fryer. After researching products forever, I settled on this one and I’m glad I did. It’s of medium size so it fits fairly well on the counter. I love the “cool to touch” and that the basket can be lowered with the lid shut. I did not have a fogging up problem for the window which some people seem to feel is inevitable. I love the magnetic cord (I have a three year old), and I feel as safe as one can with a deep fryer in the house with a toddler. The oil heats up pretty qquick and the fried food comes out crisp and fairly greaseless. I am very pleased with this purchase.

basket to cause problems. Large enough for family of four.

It’s just great. Foods don’t come out greasy, I can do other things while it cooks since the cover doesn’t let the oil splatter. The best part ….. EASY CLEANING! That oil spout is a terrific idea. Would definitely recommend it!

We have had several deep fryers over the years and we love this one. Drain tube makes clean up easy. We have given this as wedding gifts and the couples have told us how much they lo9ve this deep fryer. Replacement filters are easy to get through Amazon.
Food absorbs little oil for healthier deep fried foods. We use canola oil.
